Our client is an international travel company offering a range of tours throughout 12 countries in South America.
As part of its ongoing development, and to support its rapidly-growing Chinese market, it is now looking for a dedicated Sales & Marketing Assistant, to be based in Beijing.
Initially home-based, reporting into the Singapore office and supported by 120 colleagues in 16 offices worldwide, the Sales and Marketing Assistant will be the main point of contact for Chinese travel agents looking to book individual, group and incentive trips for South America-bound clients.
Main duties include:
*Travel agent sales calls and interaction with agents throughout China
*Preparation of newsletters
*Representing the company at trade fairs
*Competitor analysis
*CRM data entry
*Product preparation
Candidates for this Sales & Marketing Assistant vacancy should meet the following criteria:
*Diploma or above, in Business Studies, Administrations, Management or Marketing
*The motivation to manage a new operation and the discipline to work from home
*Currently working within the travel industry
*Living in Beijing
*A naturally confident individual
*Owner of laptop and mobile phone (expenses will be covered by the client)
*Space within your home to use as an office
*Knowledge of South America and/or Spanish language an advantage (but not a
requirement)
This full time, permanent role is self-employed (remunerated by client), so the successful candidate will be responsible for any taxes due.
