Due to continued expansion, an opportunity now exists for an experienced Legal Manager of the highest calibre to join the company.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

You will work as the first in-house legal counsel for this company, directly report to CFO, you need to provide daily on-site legal support for legal issues raised by all the business teams in Asia concerning intellectual property rights, support corporate projects in Asia, including copyrights registration, trade mark registration, Franchise contracts, DIP and all regulation Franchise. To support the retail business, you should draft and review lots of contract from leasing to operation, you also need to participate in the business negotiation when necessary. What’s more, you will handle legal disputes and manage outside counsel sometimes. Providing legal advices and trainings.

Desired Skills and Experience:

To consider this role, you will ideally have graduated with a Law degree with license to practice law in PRC, a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience gained from large multinational corporations is required, ideally within the retail, luxury or FMCG sector. You should be self-motivated and capable of identifying and resolving legal and business issues, appropriately balancing legal issues with business risk, have strong sense of internal service, professionalism, and ability to work closely with internal clients at all levels and with outside counsel. Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and deliver results. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, fluent in English and Mandarin. Good team spirit and service sense with Strong personality to negotiate contracts.
