Are you a native English speaker with a Bachelor’s degree or higher? Do you either have experience of teaching English as a second language or a demonstrable interest in doing so? Are you looking for an exciting experience in a different culture whilst also enjoying decent earnings? Then this opportunity could be for you.
What are we looking for?
We are looking for bright, articulate graduates with excellent written and verbal English skills to work in China, we have vacancies in Hangzhou and Shenzhen. The monthly salary of £1200 will provide you with plenty of disposable income on top of your accommodation and health insurance.
Please note: you do not need any knowledge of the Chinese language. Any knowledge would be desirable, but is not essential.
What will you be doing?
You will teach English as a Second Language to classes of 30 – 45 in Chinese public schools. Your job will be funded by the Chinese government. You will teach 15 – 20 hours a week. We have vacancies with primary schools (aged 6- 12) , secondary schools (aged 12 – 16) and further education colleges (aged 16 – 20). Obviously, the level of the children’s English varies depending on how old they are. The organisation can train you towards your TEFL qualification if you do not already have one. The cost of this will be part reimbursed after your training, and then fully reimbursed after your contract expires. The initial contract will be for 1 year, though they would like people to extend these if they do well.
If you already have a TEFL qualification, you can start right away without training.
We need people available to start in September 2016. The schools will pay for your accommodation and insurance once you are out there. Candidates will need to pay for their own flights out to China, which will be reimbursed.
Important: candidates also need to organise and pay for their own working VISA through the Chinese Embassy.

Reporting to the APAC Department Head, the job incumbent will provide advice and support to the Board and different committees in relation to corporate governance and secretarial matters. He/she will organise and prepare Board meetings and will take minutes and follow up on matters arising from such meetings. He/she will also organise and prepare Board/Shareholder resolutions and submit the related approvals as well as advise on the applicable statutory and regulatory requirements.
The ideal candidate will be a qualified lawyer/chartered company secretary and will have at least 10 years of relevant legal/company secretarial experience gained with well-known multinational corporations, preferably global financial services companies. He/she must have strong knowledge of the corporate governance and regulatory framework governing China’s financial services sector, and sound knowledge of corporate secretarial laws. The successful candidate must have outstanding English communications skills (written and spoken) and be fluent in Mandarin.
