The Position

Our Analysts live at the intersection of digital information, public policy and business and apply layers of sophisticated human judgment to the information explosion in order to deliver the essence of what our clients -- a who’s who of government and corporate leaders -- need to know to start their day. We hire people with substantive experience that lends itself to corporate competitive intelligence. About one-third of our analysts are lawyers, while others have experience in business analysis, market analysis, industry research, executive briefing services, analytics, etc. Successful candidates need the ability to distinguish between critical, important and non-essential information and must be able to provide insightful briefings that allow senior business executives to begin their day fully prepared. You will be part of a top team using cutting-edge technology in order to research and analyze changing events and information trends.

Qualifications
Excellent writing and editing ability. Strong skills in competitive intelligence analysis. Understanding the information needs of senior executives who manage large businesses in the healthcare industry. Excellent computer skills and comfort learning advanced technical tools. Ability to work overnight and under tight deadlines. Bachelor’s degree from a leading university; advanced degree helpful. A plus: fluency in Spanish, French, German, Chinese or Japanese. US citizen or permanent resident.

Part-time Mandarin Teacher Position - Chinese with Meggie - Austin, TX

We are currently looking for new part-timeinstructors to join our growing team. Instructors will take on the responsibility of teaching classes in our immersion program, working with childrenfrom 1.5 years old to 6 years old.

Qualifications:
· Native Mandarin Chinese speaker, with fluency in reading and writing Chinese characters.
· Excellent English speaking and writing skills.
· Love of working with children, ages 1.5-6
· Ability to work collaboratively with other teachers as a team.
· Familiarity with communicating through email and other social media.

Previous teaching experience is a plus but not required. Paid training will be provided. Fixed weekly hours.

All part-time instructors have the possibility of transitioning to full-time instructors. Salaries are competitive and commensurate with experience.

In addition to teaching immersion and elementary classes, instructors should also be eager and able to take up responsibilities in curriculum development and school management, working in close collaboration with the School Director.

- Masters degree in the field of education (Foreign Language Education, Early Childhood Education, etc.) and strong knowledge of contemporary academic discourse on language acquisition.
- Love of working with little children (ages 2-12).
- Ability to develop innovative, creative curriculum for small group, immersion-based learning.
- Ability to work collaboratively with other teachers as a team.
- Excellent organizational skills and experience coordinating large groups of people.
- Strong computer skills, such as competence in video editing, layout/design, Google Apps/Docs, blogging, and social media.
- Vision for school’s long-term development and ability to contribute to achieving that vision.
- Previous teaching experience is a plus but not required. Paid training will be provided.
