Expert (m/f) - Gasoline Engine Calibration (Shanghai or Beijing)

Location: Peking (CN), Shanghai (V.R. China) – Reference Number: IAV-CN-21629

Your tasks

Focus on gasoline engine vehicle calibration tasks in vehicle (all possible functions)Planning and execution of engine test procedures in vehicleDocumentation of calibration workEvaluation of measurement data and technical problems (e.g. unusual measurement data or malfunction), implementation of solutionsPlanning and execution of vehicle test runs (summer, winter, high altitude)Technical project management and supportCommunication with calibration experts in IAV headquarter in GermanyCommunication interface to clients, suppliers, and development partnersPresentation of technical project statusOccasional business trips (e.g. vehicle tests in China, business trip to Germany)

Work location: Shanghai or Beijing

Your skills

University degree in automotive engineering, mechatronics or similar with main focus on combustion engines and engine controlAt least 2 years working experience in engine vehicle calibration is requiredKnowledge of testing and analysis tools (e.g. INCA, DiagRA, Canape, CAN-Bus-analysis tools)Strong interest in vehicle driving and testingKnowledge of western and Chinese cultureLanguage skills: excellent German is requiredAbility to work independentlyWhat we offer
