Program Management Team Lead - Gphomestay - The Cambridge Institute - Waltham, MA

We are seeking an individual with 2 - 5 years of leadership and management experience to lead a team of International Program Consultants who oversee international student programs within our network of partner schools. As a Program Management Team Lead, this person will ensure that team members are meeting deadlines, on track with various priorities, provide mentorship and guidance in regards to student and school issues and be actively involved in improving various processes and systems within the department. The ideal candidate will have experience in education and be able to understand how private high schools in the United States operate. Experience working in admissions or as an admissions director is a plus.

RESPONSIBILITIES Ensure the success and quality of each International Student Program within the team Optimize revenue generation for both the school and Cambridge Manage projects Provide support and feedback to team members Continuously identify areas for process and system improvements within the department REQUIREMENTS BA/BS or higher 2- 5 years of experience in a management or leadership role Strong relationship-building skills and ability to mentor and oversee different personalities of team members Strong accountability and follow-up for one?s work Experience in global business or education Committed to diversity in education Creative problem-solving skills Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with business partners Flexibility and willingness to work and communicate outside normal business hours Strong drive and high energy with a willingness to travel globally Strong presentation skills Strong communication skills, including telephone and email skills Strong commitment to customer service Ability to work closely with managers and colleagues around the globe Professionalism and punctuality, with the ability to work independently Focus on revenue generation and sales amongst partner schools Resilient to unexpected setbacks; able to adapt to frequent shifts in priorities Sales and/or business development experience with proven track record of results selling services or programs Comfortable and able to travel independently, including ability to drive an automobile PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS MA or equivalent experience 2- 5 years of experience working in consulting, business analysis, business development, recruitment, and/or sales Experience working in education, preferably at the high school level Previous work experience as an Admissions Director or Assistant Admissions Director Background in social work, mentoring, and/or personal counseling International travel experience Fluency in Mandarin Chinese, or another foreign language(s) ESL experience Experience interacting with key stakeholders Residential life experience Back to top

VP of Technology Development - 1477446 - SolidEnergy Systems - Waltham, MA

Position Description
SolidEnergy, a battery startup commercializing a breakthrough battery technology developed at MIT, is seeking a VP of technology development to help lead the development of our polymer ionic liquid (PIL) lithium metal battery. S/he will bring significant expertise in the area of ionic liquid and polymer electrolyte for lithium batteries and project management. Responsibilities include:

Manage electrolyte materials development
Manage cell prototype building development
Source raw materials from suppliers and manufacturers
Build and manage relationships with collaborators and manufacturing partners
Attend technical conferences and read journals to stay up-to-date with new breakthroughs

Desired Experience

PhD in chemistry, chemical engineering, materials science, or related fields
5 years of experience leading a technical team and managing a technical project
Publication and conference presentations on novel battery electrolyte materials
Working with major materials and chemical companies
Strong communication skills and ability to work both independently and collaboratively
Ability to speak Mandarin Chinese and contacts with Asian suppliers is a huge plus
