Admin. Assistant job - Capital Area Staffing Solutions - Skowhegan, ME





Skowhegan – An experienced HR Assistant is needed for this part time, temp to hire opportunity. The successful candidate will have an aptitude for fast, accurate data entry and proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook. Flexible scheduling is available. Responsibilities include:
  • Explaining and enrolling employees in the benefit packages

  • Processing workers’ compensation claims

  • Assisting with recruiting and conducting employee orientation

  • Coordinating, distributing, and tracking various HR functions and forms

  • Assisting in the implementation and interpretation of company policies

Associates Degree in Accounting with 2 years relevant experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred.

Requirements

Two good employment references; Mature work ethic; Comparable experience; HS Diploma or equivalent
