Marketing internship at Direct HR / CHINAJOBHUNTER


The Marketing Intern is responsible to support the development of marketing related initiatives, mostly in a Content Marketing context (creation & distribution) but also in event management and business development, under the mentoring and supervision of the Marketing Manager.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
CONTENT MARKETING DEVELOPMENT (60%):
Market Research: gather necessary insights in order to successfully create engaging content to the relevant audience for Direct HR & WHI.
Data processing and basic statistical analysis (means, frequency distribution, segmentation)
Content writing: repurposing existing in-house content as well as generating new one.
Define a set of sources from where to feed off relevant news to support the content marketing initiatives.
Elaborate Presentations for Events and Workshops to help reinforce the image of Direct HR & WHI as a knowledgeable partner in the China recruitment landscape.
Design of certain visuals (i.e. info-graphics).
CONTENT DISTRIBUTION (20%):
Support on handling the company Blog and Newsletter: posting content, monitoring engagement with the site and managing comments, administering newsletter contacts database. Segmentation of the newsletter database.
Support on managing social media channels (fundamentally LinkedIn, and potentially Twitter and /Wechat).
Review campaign statistics and generate reports to assess ROI of content campaigns.
EVENT MANAGEMENT (10%):
Assist in the planning and organization of events (in-house and external events): this includes – but not only limited to creating promotional materials, mailing lists, sending out invitations, logistics and follow up activities post-event.
ASSISTING BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT (10%):
Assisting on the elaboration of commercial presentations for Direct HR & WHI Business Development consultants.

SKILLS:
Strong analytical skills. Ability to work with processes, numbers, and statistics.
Excellent English writing and verbal skills in order to be able to produce attractive and engaging content.
Knowledge of design software (Photoshop, Adobe Illustrated,…) to create visual content (i.e. info graphs)
A high level of competence with Microsoft Office Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
Excellent problem solving skills and hands-on mentality. A can do attitude.
Results-driven and ability to manage different projects in a timely manner following high quality standards.
Understanding of B2B sales and marketing processes.
Good communication and presentation skills.
The ability to work on projects independently as well as in a team setting.
Solid organizational skills.


EDUCATION:
Bachelor degree, related to Marketing, Communication or Business Studies preferred


EXPERIENCE:
Experience in a similar role is not essential, but it would be a plus
Candidates able to stay for a minimum of three months would be preferred
Native Language: Chinese
