Head of Design and Technology - British International School





A thriving British International School in Chinais looking for an innovative and dynamic Head of Design and Technology to lead the school’s successful DT department from September 2016. This is a full time and permanent position.


The school aims to create a caring, international community that develops well-rounded individuals with strong values and skills to thrive within an ever changing adult world. The school has a friendly, tight knit community which is continually developing and improving in all areas so that pupils can develop academically and personally.


The Design and Technology department is flourishing, with a significant number of pupils taking the subject at GCSE and at 6th Form. The school is looking for an excellent classroom practitioner who can teach DT up to A level and will be able to motivate and lead the team. The successful candidate will have previous experience of teaching DT to KS5 and will ideally have some management experience. The school is a busy, thriving and ambitious school, and it seeks teachers who are ready for a full commitment to the school and its wider community.
