Primary EAL teachers - Beijing - August 2016

Beijing is a fascinating place and one of history’s great cities! It is known for its modern architecture and ancient sites. It is one of the most popular tourist destinations in the world and draws in people each year who come to view the finest remnants of China’s imperial past, such as the grand Forbidden City and many sublime temples. The food is a feast for sore eyes, including specialities such as Mongolian lamb, Sichuan-style chilli-spiked crayfish and flaky flatbreads with sweet wafts of fried spring onions which can be cooked before you! Beijing is a bustling city with more than 13 million people on an area of 16,800 sq. km – the size of Belgium. The Beijing Municipality is flat and has a very orderly design – north, south, east and west circumnavigated by six concentric ring roads. The Beijing seasons are clearly marked by changes in weather and temperatures, and surprising splashes of colours.

My client is looking for a Primary EAL teacher for an August 2016 start. This excellent schools group with campuses in various parts of China and Hong Kong and founded in 1932 have recently used their expertise to set up new schools for Chinese Nationals to enjoy the same excellent international education opportunities.

This school opens in 2016 to much fanfare looking to increase its student numbers rapidly with this groups solid reputation. The schools are committed to educate the whole person from infancy through secondary education. They strive to unite the best elements of Eastern and Western traditions and practices, the growth of the individual and the inquiring mind as well as develop a sense of personal responsibility and social welfare of all. With excellent facilities across all campuses, these schools employ a bilingual philosophy, exemplified by engaging a co teaching with a Chinese and western teacher team teaching.
