Nanjing in China is the capital of China’s eastern Jiangsu province and was the national capital during the Ming dynasty and in the 20th century. Sites to see include The Ming City Wall, surrounding Nanjng and is one of the city’s most remarkable features. In addition the stunning 472 hectare natural reserve, Xuanwu Lake Park, is great to be able to see the ancient architecture and contrasting skyscrapers. My client is looking for Physics teachers to commence in August 2016.

This large Education Group partners with 26 government high schools throughout China, delivering A-levels, the IB Diploma Programme or Advanced Placement courses to over 6,700 students. Each school has a unique history and culture, yet common themes emerge across all of them: high standards, committed and polite students and a belief in the all-round development of young people. One of the key aims within each school is to adequately prepare students for successful university careers and for life overseas, developed through a modern, western-style of teaching that encourages critical thinking, debate and application of learning. Joining this school group will offer educators a unique opportunity to teach high ability Chinese students so teachers who really enjoy the depth of subject teaching required at A Level, IBDP or AP Level will find this experience incredibly fulfilling.

Requirements:

Applications from fully qualified teachers with at least 2 years of post-qualification experience. Applicants will have prior experience in either IB, AP or A-Levels but the most essential requirement is the ability to teach high achieving students at the senior high school level. Applicants must have a passion for their subject and the ability to teach exceptionally academically able and motivated students. Experience of working with ESL students will be advantageous.

Benefits:

• Salary ranging from RMB 15,000 – 27,500 per month as well as contract completion bonus of around RMB 20,000/year.


• Flight allowance of around RMB 12,000/year.


• Housing allowance depending on the location.


• Medical insurance.


• Paid winter and summer vacation (at least 9 weeks in total).
