Senior Interior Designer/ Architect, Shanghai. This is an International Design Consultancy with an expertise in Retail and hospitality. They have a team of 50 and are looking for an experienced 4-5 star hotel interior designer, upmarket show homes, with a thoroughly good understanding of contemporary design as well as a sensitivity to rejuvenate more historical designs in a crisp contemporary way. You should have at least 4+ years post grad experience in this sector and an ability to speak passionately about design. The ideal interior designer would be able to mentor junior designers and may even come in at an Associate level if you have the experience. As the role is in China it would be an advantage to speak Mandarin though not essential, but an appetite to throw yourself into the Chinese culture would make this a really rewarding experience both professionally and commercially.
