Job Description: The Real Estate Manager (REM) is responsible for locating potential Panda store sites within the assigned geographic area for lease or purchase. This position prepares and implements market studies to determine the feasibility of potential sites. The REM presents potential sites and terms to the Real Estate Site Acquisition Committee (RESAC) and finalizes contract terms for approved sites.
Location: Responsible for areas that include but may not be limited to:
Northern California/Bay Area
Washington & Oregon
Responsibilities and additional territories will be expanded as needed
Potential travel to Western Canada (Edmonton, Calgary, Vancouver BC markets)

Responsibilities
Locates potential Panda store sites or non-traditional sites within assigned geographic area by building relationships with the real estate community, including brokers and developers, or other non-traditional contacts.
Prepares and implements market studies on the feasibility of sites according to established guidelines, procedures, and policies.
Negotiates site acquisition and presents potential sites to RESAC for approval. Prepares RESAC packages and ensures that they are delivered to upper management on a timely basis.
Finalizes contract terms in collaboration with Legal, Operations, and RD for approved sites. Works with Licensing on contract terms for non-traditional sites.
May recommends modifications to RE operating policies and procedures.
Updates and maintains real estate databases (Expesite, PRESTO).
Develops and maintains strong relationships with Operations, Legal, RD, and Licensing related to site acquisition and development. Attends operations team meetings and communicates frequently and effectively.
Relocation assistance is available . Qualifications

Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate or Business or related field required
Minimum five years of real estate-related experience, preferably in the retail/hospitality environment
Minimum 3 Years working the Northern California/ Bay Area Real Estate Market
Experience working the Northwest market (Washington, Oregon, Idaho) Preferred.
50-60% Travel required
