HOCAPS INTERNATIONAL: IT Manager

On behalf of our client we are looking for an experienced IT Manager. It is a great opportunity for a luxurious independent hotel in Wuhan, China.

The IT Manager is responsible for the development and maintenance of in-house developed software, the design and maintenance of the corporate data warehouse, business intelligence tools and the management of the group’s software development and data warehouse team.

Working as part of a larger management team you will possess a flexible and adaptive hands-on approach in order to provide this vital support service to the Hotel.

Main duties:

- Create, deliver and manage IT services for the group portfolio.

- Create scalable system architecture for hospitality operations.

- Responsible for establishing, maintaining and improving IT planning, budgeting and governance processes.

- Responsible for the overall systems development lifecycle.

- Develop annual business plan & operating budget for the department.

- Work closely with the technical architects to develop the best technical design and approach for new application development.

- Translation of complex functional and technical requirements into detailed project plans and schedules; manage the day-to-day activities of the engineering team.

- Develop strong working relationships with internal operational heads, Property owners / GMs and external partners/vendors and stakeholders.

Requirements:

- A complete knowledge of Hospitality IT solutions

- Experience in architecting, developing, planning and launching IT systems.

- Fluent in English and Mandarin

- Experience in managing/guiding a team of network specialists, application developers, business analysts and quality certification engineers (in house or outsourced) with IT project delivery.

- Understanding of the Hospitality business with prior IT operational experience.

- Strong understanding of people, processes and P&L.

- Outgoing, dynamic, target oriented team player

- Self motivated and self starter
