HOCAPS INTERNATIONAL: Spa Manager

We are looking for an experienced SPA Manager for a new opening Hotel in Wuhan, China. This is a a very high profile opportunity for a luxurious independent hotel.

Scope and General Purpose of Job:

To establish, coordinate and administer financial planning for the control and success of

ongoing operations. Direct the operation of policies, procedures, plans, and programmes

governing all operational and financial matters of the facility.

The Spa Manager should provide strategic leadership and direct operations to ensure the spa department achieves its goals and effectively contributes to the guest experience whilst maintaining the property brand standards. The suitable candidate will be involved in the next main duties:

1- Ensure all task in the spa operation’s Pre-Opening Plan are completed to ensure a successful opening according to the Brand Standards.

2- Ensure consistent spa/wellness experience development to ensure that innovation and uniqueness is maintained.

3- Review all guest feedback results to implement improvements and ensure guest satisfaction.

4- Oversee the retail outlets located in the hotel and maintain high delivery of standards to the guest in order to drive revenue.

5- Implement and monitor up-selling strategies to maximize spa revenue.

6- Participate in the preparation of the Annual Business Plan to ensure the spa operation is adequately represented.

The successful candidate should have a minimum of 4 years of management experience in a high volume spa for a luxury Hotel and pre-opening experience is a plus. Fluency in English and Mandarin is required.
