Country Marketing and Sales Manager – China at SEL / CHINAJOBHUNTER


Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories (SEL) seeks a professional, innovative and detailed individual for our Country Marketing and Sales Manager position in Shanghai, China. SEL (Shanghai) office is located at the dynamic and fast growing ZhangJiang Hi-Tech Park, in Pudong, Shanghai.


Country Marketing and Sales Manager – China


Responsibilities:


Lead, organize and motivate the sales organization to meet strategic and operational objectives.
Develop, maintain, and manage effective sales channels to increase sales in both new and existing markets.
Develop new end users and new sales partners, promote product sales and track progress toward sales goal.
Provide direction and accountability to SEL Sales Representatives, Distributors and Integrators.
Conduct market research and propose effective marketing strategies.
Maintain a good SEL product knowledge, and provide SEL solutions to customer’s applications.
Support the General Manager in developing marketing plans and sales forecasts.
Track and report the progress of sales projects regularly toward the sales goals.
Assist in preparing technical and commercial proposals and bids for new projects.
Continuously identify, measure, and improve processes.
Follow SEL policies and processes, maintain good business ethics.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering and related business experience
Minimum eight years business development and sales experience
Minimum three years’ experience related to protection, control and automation of electric power systems
Demonstrated management skills
Excellent presentation, communication and power industrial market development skills
Ability to travel 50% of working time
Self-motivated and demonstrated team player
Strong writing, documentation, and speaking skills in both English and Chinese
Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities
Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment
Background check results satisfactory to SEL
