Ensure the safety and security of clients and continuity of treatment program during evenings, weekends, and holidays. Provides substance abuse information and support to extended care clients.
Qualifications/Competencies:
- Valid Driver’s License
- CPR/First Aid certification required within 2 months of hire
- Certified Residential Medication Aid (CRMA) certification required within 2 months of hire
- MOAB certification required within 6 months of hire
- High school diploma or equivalency plus general knowledge of substance abuse counseling preferred
- Experience in residential care setting preferred.
- One year direct service provisions in health or social services program preferred.
- Appreciable contact with patients.
- Must have strong communication skills.
- Confidentiality of information must be maintained.
- May be required to transport clients.
- 24 hour a day residential treatment setting
