[Full-time] Senior Engineer in Shanghai at Mec Lashing

Position Title:
Reports To: Head office in Germany
Job Location: Shanghai Branch office
Job type: Permanent / Full Time

Responsibilities:
To carry out routine tests and inspections of lashing equipment.
Maintaining records with regards to quality and test results.
Troubleshoot Technical problems
To control and monitor loading / unloading of the material.
To send reports weekly

Education and Experience
Bachelor or Master’s degree in Marine Engineering, Maritime Studies or equivalent from an accredited school.
Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience.
Experience in lashing equipment for containers it´s not required but it is a differential.

Requirements:
• Must possess superior engineering skills.

• Must have advanced knowledge of lashing equipment be familiar with application, standards and acceptable industry practices.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills required with the ability to prepare written reports specifications in English and Chinese.

• Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience

• Fluency in English and Chinese. A candidate must have the ability to read, write, analyze and interpret technical drawings to provide communication in English and Chinese.
