Number of positions:

1 x English Writing (Basic English Writing and Academic Writing for university level)

1 x English Speech & Debate (Basic verbal English, Public Speech and Debate)

Location: Baoding, China (It takes approximately 45 minutes from Baoding to Beijing by train.)

Contract period: September 1, 2016 – July 31, 2017

Working/teaching hours: Less than 20 classes (i.e., 900 minutes) per week

Average Class size: About 30-35 students in one Class

Salary and others

Salary: 7,000-8,000 CNY/month depending on qualification

Housing: An individual apartment with necessary and workable electrical appliances

Flight: One international return flight per contract period can be reimbursed

Visa: Centre for International Education and Exchange (CIEE) at Baoding University will assist the foreign experts to gain their working Visa (i.e., “Z” Visa) to China.

Holiday: Foreign teachers are entitled to the same legal holidays as Chinese citizens.

Insurance: Chinese medical insurance

Travel allowance: 1,100 CNY per term

Requirements:

1. Native English Speaker with Bachelor’s degree (or above). If the applicant is not a native English speaker, he/she must have gained Bachelor’s degree (or above) from native English countries.

2. The highest degree certification that the applicant has achieved must be authenticated by the China’s embassy or consulate in the given country.

3. For those who have Education-related Bachelor’s degree (or above), no working experience is required; for TEFL holders or certified teachers whose Bachelor’s degree is not related to the Education major, no working experience is required as well. If not, the applicant must have at least 2 years teaching experience.

4. No criminal background (An official verification document issued by your local authority is required.)
