Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Working as a legal counsel in a big legal team, you are expected to advise business on contract review and negotiations, which include Lease Agreement and Consignment Sales Agreement (and its variables) for new store opening, Celebrity Contracts, Group Purchase Agreement, Sponsor Agreement, Office administration related agreements, etc.; negotiate directly with the counterparties when necessary. At the same time, you should monitor and report on the promulgation of new laws and regulations in mainland China in relation to company business and its operation, assist in compiling and establishing policies and contract execution processes, deliver training and provide coaching on legal concept to other business functions.

Desired Skills and Experience:

To consider this role, you should have a law degree with at least 5 yrs experience in major law firm or foreign invested company in-house legal function in China. Has experience in retail or FMCG area, good at commercial contract drafting or real estate legal issues is a plus. Good English or Japanese are required.
