We are looking for a qualified English teacher to join a new education project in China. If you are anEnglish native speaker with a bachelor degree, and looking to join a well-established, supportive team in a successful and expanding school in China, this job will interest you.

We are looking for a passionate and highly motivated English teacher to join the school in August 2016. The ideal candidate will be a native English speaker, familiar with the UK National Curriculum in England (English Subject, KS1-2). For Visa purposes applicant must have minimum 2 years of teaching experiences. This role is to teach English Language and English Literature to 6-14 year-old Chinese students.

Responsibilities: 

Using electronic media and EDC courseware to teach English efficiently and effectively 

Evaluating student progress and providing on-going guidance for improvement 

Teaching Chinese students (6-14 years old) English and ensuring them to meet requirements mentioned in the national curriculum, including reading, writing, spelling, vocabulary, grammar, etc. 

Ability to command the attention of large groups of children in an engaging and compelling manner

Qualifications: 

Bachelor degree or above 

At least two years of teaching experience 

Familiar with National Curriculum in England (English Subject, KS1-2) 

An excellent communicator- both verbal and written 

TESL/TEFL/PGCE Certificate preferred 

Drama teaching experiences definitely a plus

Your will be requested to work 40 hours per week, including 28 hours of class teaching and a half working day on every Saturday. Certain level of flexibility is expected.

In return you will receive free accommodation and a remuneration of £15,000 – £21,000 gross per annum, depending on the qualification and experience. In addition, you will have the opportunity to live in a fantastic city of Hangzhou.
