Occupancy Specialist job - Housing Management Resources - Augusta, ME

As an Occupancy Specialist you will primarily be responsible for tenant re-certification and lease renewals. Each employee makes a unique and valuable contribution to the community and our company. What you will do as an Occupancy Specialist:
Deliver high quality service by preparing lease renewals and recertification in accordance with Fair Housing principles

Address the questions and concerns of current and future tenants in a friendly and professional manner

Audit and ensure that tenant files contain required verification and acceptable documentation

Update and manage tenant waiting lists and review potential tenant applications

Ensure that tenant income certifications are completed timely and accurately in accordance with program requirements

Assist with daily operations, e.g. handling incoming calls as well as maintaining and controlling all confidential files and records

Contribute to harmonious work environment that promotes professional development

What will serve you well in this role?

Detail oriented and exceptionally organized

Proven track record of high productivity and meeting deadlines

Strong computer skills and some knowledge of Boston Post a plus

Previous affordable housing experience is beneficial
