Clinical Support Specialist/Administrative Assistant - Spurwink Services - Chelsea, ME

DESCRIPTION

This Spurwink position provides clinical and educational support to clients and families at the Chelsea Day Treatment Program. Organization, an ability to show initiative, motivation, and be able to work independently is a must needed skill. Strong documentation and data entry skills are necessary, and an ability to communicate effectively in professional relationships. In addition to working independently to manage time, organization, and documentation requirements, this position also requires the ability to work well with multidisciplinary teams within a professional setting.


DUTIES


Consult and maintain professional relationships with all providers, internally and externally with clients. Help to access community supports. Update continued stay reviews, behavior plans, Individual Service Plans, assist in admission paperwork. APS support with tracking and completion of prior authorizations, continued stay reviews. Med Review support with documentation, assistance with records requests, and other duties as assigned by the Clinical Supervisor.Assist the Educational Director and Assistant Educational Director in connecting with school districts to schedule meetings, ensure all educational paperwork is distributed and received, coordinating with school districts and families around educational programming, clerical duties, setting up for meetings, and other duties assigned by the ED and AED.


QUALIFICATIONS


Bachelor’s degree and three years experience in a related field.
