Transcription Assistant job - MaineGeneral Health - Augusta, ME





Performs clerical functions within the Department. Assists with Quality Assurance projects performed within the Department. Tracks reports completed by contract agencies. Provides follow-up regarding incomplete/missing dictation to off-campus based MaineGeneral healthcare providers.

Qualifications/Competencies:
Minimum of 1 year of related experience preferred.

High school diploma or general education diploma (GED) required; Associate’s degree preferred.

Knowledge of anatomy and physiology and medical terminology required.

Excellent grammar and spelling skills required.

Previous experience in a medical office setting preferred.


Proficiency in a suite of Microsoft Office applications.
