Position


The Sales Representative (China) with Mandarin fluency is responsible for maximizing contract dollar value. Commissions are paid upon a calculation applied to minimum total contract value. You will work closely with other team members in a collaborative and energetic environment. We work hard and play hard in an effort to create a functional and fun culture.


Responsibilities


We are less about forecast and more about next steps (the deal closes when it’s ready to)


Understand and communicate the motivation of your prospects/customers


Continually update your understanding of the customer motivation


Identify and execute the next step for each opportunity at each stage in the pipeline (prospect, engaged, proposal, redlines, closed (won, lost, or deferred))


Ask for what you want


Sell what we have rather than what’s coming


Identify, address, and communicate the problems in your negotiations early and often


Gain an understanding of what we feel is important (If it’s important it shouldn’t be a surprise)


Requirements


Bachelor’s degree preferred but not necessary


Proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales goals


Strong presentation, negotiation, and networking skills (formal training in negotiation is a plus)


Strong written and verbal communication (writing samples are a plus)


Wants to live the disruptive Start-Up life: rapid releases, quick decisions, lot’s of autonomy


Knowledge of cloud storage technologies, markets, and ecosystems


Strong planning and analytical skills with proven ability to apply these skills towards problem solving with minimal compromise


Fluent in Mandarin; including writing skills, group presentations and 1:1 conversations
