MFLEX, one of the largest U.S. based flexible circuit manufacturers, seeks a business-oriented, self-starting attorney for Suzhou, China location, to provide comprehensive legal support and advice for China, and other Asian-based operations.DIVISION COUNSEL / SENIOR COPORATE COUNSEL - SUZHOU, CHINA

Responsibilities:
You will be responsible to negotiate, draft and review a variety of commercial contracts such as customer supply, vendor, lease, real estate, hardware and software, outsourcing, licensing, employment, benefits, financial, government, procurement and others as needed. You will also act as the keeper of corporate records for China and other Asian based operations. In addition, you will assist in special projects and other matters as needed to support the General Counsel. Other key responsibilities include review and negotiation; corporate record keeping; dispute resolution as well as counseling of internal business parties. Requirements:
J.D. degree from an ABA law school considered a plusQualified to practice law in ChinaMinimum 5 years of experience in commercial contracts, with experience with US laws and regulations (including the FCPA and SOX) an advantageExperience negotiating contracts with China-based OEMs and EMS providersStrong experience in drafting/negotiating contracts and handling general corporate mattersExperience supervising other lawyers and legal team membersAbility to function as team player, collaborating with colleagues, clients, and business leaders to further the company’s strategic objectivesAbility to interact diplomatically and persuasively with management at all levelsAbility to exercise sound judgment, make decisions, and render advice in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and competing prioritiesAbility to work independently, multi-task and prioritize work flow based on the company’s commercial priorities and strategic goalsStrong analytical, organizational, and communication skills (including excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills)Ability to travel internationally (US and Asia) on an as-needed basis (average one to four weeks a year)Understanding of US public company rules and regulationsAbility to read, write and speak Chinese and English requiredIf interested in this position, please email your curriculum vitae, stating current and expected remunerations package to sghumanresources@mflex.com.
