HR Associate job - MaineGeneral Health - Waterville, ME
The Human Resources team at MaineGeneral is seeking an organized, detail oriented, motivated individual to join our Waterville location in a per diem capacity. This role will require you to have accomplished computer skill and the ability to manage multiple priorities to successful and accurate completion. You will work closely with Directors and HR team members to perform a variety of administrative related duties. Be r responsible for operational and technical support as well as general Human Resources customer service delivery. Specific assignments may include prioritizing and facilitating work associated with employee and student onboarding, benefit selection and system data changes, most of which are confidential in nature. CURRENT CIRCUMSTANCES WOULD INDICATE THAT THOUGH THIS IS A PER DIEM POSITION, WE ANTICIPATE THE OPPORTUNITY TO WORK A SIGNIFICANT NUMBER OF HOURS ON A WEEKLY BASIS FOR THE NEXT SEVERAL MONTHS. Qualifications/Competencies Associate’s degree preferred 3 years of Human Resources experience preferred Requires a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail Strong customer service and organizational skills to provide to support to the HR Teams Must possess the ability to communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization Detail-oriented, with strong organizational skills and ability to multitask Must have confident and effective oral and written communication skills Basic understanding of Human Resources functions and practices Familiarity with laws governing leave of absences and labor laws is strongly desired Proficiency in a suite of Microsoft Office applications preferred Must have the desire and flexibility to continually learn and use new skills |
