Kang Chiao International School East China Campus (KCISEC) is a subsidiary of Kang Chiao Bilingual School (founded in 2002). It is a private, co-educational school with boarding facilities. KCISEC strives to provide a culturally stimulating environment, where diversity is celebrated and students are provided with the skills to succeed in a global society. From our kindergarten to our senior high school, KCIS utilizes innovative pedagogical methods based on an international curriculum.

KCISEC is granted as a candidate school on 1st September 2013 to offer the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP). We are currently pursuing authorization towards an IB World School and aiming to start our first year teaching of the IB Diploma from September 2015. KCISEC IBDP teachers must embody the spirit of both the IB and of the inclusiveness that underlies the school’s vision and mission. As role models of the IB Learner Profile, they must exhibit the skills required to work in collaborative planning teams and the flexibility to undertake more than one subject area and/or grade level.

At this development stage of our IB Diploma here at KCISEC, we are currently recruiting a competent practitioner with successful experience with IB Diploma and knowledge of TOK, CAS and EE to help with curriculum design and development activities. Additionally, we are constantly looking for experienced and highly-motivated IB DP practitioners along with appropriate tertiary qualifications to teach IBDP Group 1 – Group 6 subjects such as Chinese A: Language and Literature, English B, Economics, Business and Management, Information Technology in a Global Society, Biology, Physics, Mathematical Studies, Mathematics, CAS, EE and TOK.
