To support its growing business in China, the Company is currently seeking a China Sales Director.

Job Description


Reporting directly to the Asia-Pacific Managing Director based in Singapore, the China Sales Director is responsible for executing national sales strategy, developing an optimal sales team and sales channels mix, establishing important customer relationships, delivering overall sales results to achieve annual sales targets, and building a sustainable sales structure for consistent growth in the country.


– Establish, lead & motivate a sales force including direct employees and distributors to achieve quarterly and annual sales target in both revenues and profits.


– Undertake all aspects of sales operations management & strategic planning to increase market penetration and market share, implement channel development strategies and monitor channel performance, establish pricing and negotiate contracts as necessary.


– Develop, administer and review sales activities and recommend alternatives to improve productivity, efficiency and profitability. Identify areas of improvement in sales tactics, practices, and processes.


– Increase the Company’s profile amongst target customers and maintain effective customer and partner relationships.


– Analyze current market and sales trends, and evaluate major competitor’s strengths, weaknesses, market share trends and products.

The Successful Applicant


Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant discipline. At least 10 years of progressive experience in sales, with at least 5 years in management, preferably in consumer healthcare, personal care, FMCG or similar categories.
A strong bias for action – and entrepreneurial spirit
Demonstrated ability in managing multiple, complex projects simultaneously
A real passion for teamwork with strong leadership & interpersonal skills
Experience or exposure working in a cross cultural or international environment and with legal contracts would be helpful
Ability to build networks remotely
Excellent communication skills in both English and Chinese, oral and written
Strong analytical and presentation skills
Computer proficiency – Excel/ Word/PowerPoint
Willingness to travel is essential.
