DEG China Cloud Engineering Internship

Job Description:
The talented YOU is being invited to join Intel DEG China Cloud Engineering Team and to produce Cloud, BigData and datacenter solutions to real customers.

This job offers a variety of opportunities, including but not be limited to:
– Innovate and implement next-decade Cloud, BigData, and other datacenter solutions, integrating a full range of hardware, firmware, software, application, and services.
– Implement open source software, such as OpenStack, Hadoop, distributed file system, datacenter management software, etc., to improve user experiences, costs, and functionalities in datacenter areas.
– Deep dive Intel Architecture and develop server platform software for world-class server products.

Qualifications :

Job Location and Timing:
– Location: Zizhu Science Park, MinHang District, Shanghai (company-provided free bus)
– 4 to 5 days per week.
– 1 year internship is preferred, but this is open for negotiation

Job Qualifications (not require all of them. But the more, the better):
– ANYONE who is passionate, confident, and interested with any of above opportunities.
– A post-graduate student in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or other related majors will be preferred.
– Open source fans and Linux/Unix zealots are highly preferred.
– Basic knowledge of computer architecture, such as Intel Architecture, modern Server/PC, modern network, etc.
– Experiences in Cloud, BigData, datacenter software, and Linux file systems (e.g. OpenStack, Hadoop, Mesos, etc.) are a great value-added.
– Strong programming experience with C/C++, Python, Java, etc.
– Experiences in machine learning and data mining is a plus.
– Good oral and written English is a plus.
– Good sense of responsibility, flexibility and teamwork.
– Quick self-learning capability is a must.
