TPF Services is a National Retail Merchandising company looking for dynamic, outgoing, confident, get the job done right person to merchandise for our vendor partners in our retailer partners stores. Our expertise in pets gives our vendor partners a competitive edge by positioning their products/programs to effectively reach retailers and their pet parents the right way, at the right place, at the right time. We develop strong relationships with the retailers to assist our vendor partners in creating successful strategies for their products. Brand placement is an essential part of helping pet parents connect with the right products. Our retail team works with displays and shelving arrangements to ensure each product is given the appropriate home. Our Part-time positions offer both a flexible and consistent work schedule.

We are currently looking for a part time merchandiser to service stores once per month!


Responsibilities may include but not limited to implementing and resetting planograms, test planograms, IRC’s point of sale materials, monthly merchandising programs, new item introductions, temporary price reductions, setup and maintenance of retail shelf clip strip and display, process returns, collect data, audit and maintaining existing direct supplier to store service programs. Provide digital photos from work site when requested. Attend training calls, actively participate in development training both self-paced learning and instructor led. Identify competition and any significant changes in pricing, promotion and volume. Identify selling opportunities and utilize discretionary space. May work independently, with other Team Members or with vendors and manufactures. Arrive at specific work location on time and in adherence to Company dress code. All work is completed between the hours of 6:00 am and 6:00 pm Monday through Friday (no nights or weekends). Keep work areas neat, safe and shoppable for store customers. Communicate any problems, concerns or customer questions to appropriate store management & /or Direct Supervisor. Represents TPF Services in a professional manner at all times by adhering to all Company policies and procedures. Fax all completed required documents within 24 hours of store completion. Mail cycle Tracking Forms with time worked as directed by Direct Supervisor. Performs various administrative duties as required. Adhere to TPF Services Code of Conduct and Performance Expectations. Any other reasonable requests related to the job.

Qualifications

The ability to read, write and speak English. The ability to follow instructions. Understand retail merchandising concepts. Customer service oriented. Good interpersonal, communication and organizational skills. The ability to work with computers, send and receive email with attachments and proficient with office software. The ability to lift 40 lbs, and stand for several hours at a time.


Must have computer, printer and email access, telephone and digital camera. Merchandisers tool box that includes: pen, sharpie, tape measure, phillips & flat head screwdriver and tape.
