SQL Server Database Administrator at Global UAC / CHINAJOBHUNTER

An excellent opportunity has become available working for an expanding IT Company. We are currently looking for recruit an SQL Server Database Administrator. This individual is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing database policies and procedures to ensure the integrity and availability of databases and their accompanying software.

Responsibilities:
· Design and implement high availability databases to support application development.
· Backup all databases and make sure it can be restored with minimum time.
· Improve database efficiency, scalability and response through use of database monitoring and performance tuning techniques.
· Provide support and administration for the databases.
· Troubleshoot job failures, performance issues, database integrity, etc.
· Server security and penetration testing

Requirements and skills:
· Knowledge of database design, implementation, transaction processing, referential integrity, performance tuning and monitoring with an emphasis in MySQL.
· Knowledge of replication, clustering, mirroring and log shipping.
· Great troubleshooting skills for resolving various performance issues and tuning.
· Good knowledge in penetration testing and server security issues.
· Showed ability to work under high pressure conditions.
· Ability to think creatively to solve difficult problems.
