Warehouse Controls Lead

Our top 20 global pharmaceutical client is looking for a warehouse controls lead to support it on a €100mil investment project in China. Our client is designing and installing a new warehouse to be fully automated, integrated with logistics execution software, warehouse management, material management and site manufacturing software.

Role:

– Lead the full project lifecycle for the process control technology for the warehouse logistics project.
– Establish correct specifications based on URS and design plans.
– Support the installation of the fully automated controls system.
– Ensure the new system is integrated with logistics software; IT hardware including IT servers, caballing, switches and boards; and logistics equipment including lifters, conveyers, robots and motors.
– Work closely with the site management team to complete set up of the system including safety documentation, validation, and reporting.
– Ensure the process control technology is compliant with GMP and FDA requirements.
– Establish best practice in operations and maintenance with associated data collection and knowledge dissemination.

Knowledge and Skills:

– Experience working in the (bio-) pharmaceutical or medical device industry.
– A strong background working within a logistics or warehouse environment.
– Knowledge or experience working with logistics equipment listed above.
– Previous experience of new system rollouts advantageous.
– Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
– Excellent communication skills are essential, previous experience with international projects/teams advantageous.
– Fluent English language skills required.
