Patient Service Representative - Inland Hospital - Waterville, ME

SUMMARY OF MAJOR FUNCTION

The position is the first point of contact for patients and visitors. Schedules appointments, maintains medical records, answers telephones, verifies insurance, and collects co-pays.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS FOR THE JOB

• Be able to deal effectively with the public and fellow employees


• General computer skills


• General understanding of the rehab(physical, occupational, speech therapy billing and coding process

EDUCATION

High School education or the equivalent of required.

EXPERIENCE

Prior experience with medical office and medical terminology preferred.
