Posting Issue Resolution Analyst job - athenahealth - Belfast, ME
The Transaction Resolution Analyst will report directly to the RTS Posting Supervisor.
Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to: Review payments and/or denials posted to determine whether errors have occurredResearch and understand payor and posting issuesIdentify, document, and communicate existing and potential problems and trends in the quality of remittance processingCompile information regarding errors for the RPO Posting Manager and, ultimately, vendor/payment posting specialistsComplete reports on a weekly, monthly, and ad hoc basisResolve Sugar.com (CRM) cases and other internal posting requestsResolve posting exception items on behalf of athena’s clientsResolve unpostable itemsDocument client and product-specific posting procedures to ensure internal staff and vendor are provided with required training materialsRecommend process improvements to continually increase the accuracy rateIncrease client satisfaction and collectionsAct as a liaison to the Client Services Center and Collector ServicesOther duties as assigned by the RPO Posting Manager.Required of all employees of Posting: Understanding of the needs of our clients and how attainment of our goals will meet those needsFocus on quality of service as our driving principleUnderstanding the business need to set and attain ever more challenging goalsUnderstanding of, and dedication to, continuous improvement of our processes and ourselves to support athena’s missionEagerness to participate in change-oriented endeavors geared toward expanding our capabilitiesWillingness, as part of a team, to personally provide at least 51% of the commitment and effort required to solve a problemWillingness to vary job responsibilities as required to meet the needs of our clientsDesire to learn as much as possible about our core systemsMastery of all Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerpointProficiency with Visio
