Position Overview: The Enrollment Implementation Associate (EIA) is responsible for the development and implementation of workflows to ensure cohesive, comprehensive pre-live practice implementations are completed within established timeframes. The EIA is responsible for ensuring implementations are executed within necessary timeframes to maximize client cash flow by utilizing functional enrollment work queues, performing quality assurance monitoring and enrollment issue troubleshooting in the form of consultation and Sugar case work. The EIA is the single point of accountability for implementation kickoffs, project-based implementations and point-of-contact in the Belfast and Watertown sites for Client Operations (Professional Services and Account Management). These activities includes shared responsibility with Enrollment Services’ management and assistance for ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met for all transactions and enrollment changes including: execution against payer and vendor-specific provider data verification, electronic transactions enrollment, and pay-to address requirements. The individual in this position will also assist with the development and presentation of training materials and methodologies needed to manage workflow and communication with internal stakeholders as well as clients. The Enrollment Implementation Associate will report to the Manager of Enrollment Services located in Belfast. Responsibilities: Distribute and monitor daily enrollment task work including prioritizing escalation management, as necessaryDaily management, i.e., prioritization, distribution, monitoring of implementation enrollment tasks to assureTimely and accurate data verification, electronic transactions enrollment and Pay-To address requirementsEnsure expected electronic enrollment rates are achievedManagement of athenaHold claims and CRM Sugar Cases to meet all internal department metricsIndependently manage and coordinate implementations with the Pre-live Manager of Enrollment Services and other internal departments to ensure go-live readinessDevelop innovative solutions to complex enrollment problems and provide recommendations with regard to new initiativesManage cross-functional implementation projects to roll-out new workflows and processesServe as department escalation point and subject matter expert with regard to implementations and workflow managementCollaborate with Process Innovation and Development to refine enrollment tools and reportingIdentify, recommend and enact opportunities for learning and teaching within the departmentIndependently investigate and document best practice guidelines for completing enrollment work for our clientsDevelop, maintain and implement policies and procedures in conjunction with department managementPrevious experience troubleshooting complex credentialing issues and table space setups within athenanet preferredRepresent the Enrollment Services at meetings, as neededOther duties as assigned by the Manager Enrollment Services. Qualifications: Bachelors degree or equivalent experienceThree to five years of work experience preferably in a healthcare settingPrevious project management experience that includes managing significant cross-functional interdependencies preferredExperience in strategic planning for and implementation of functional workflows by enrollment task type as well as monitoring and improvement of workflowsExperience with management of resources, coordination and allocation of work across various siteAbility to demonstrate poise and assertiveness in holding staff to project deadlinesPrior experience creating and maintaining department policies and procedures, with a focus on continuing staff educationOnsite work schedule in Belfast with some flexibility for remote work arrangement on a limited basis, as neededExcellent communication skills, including listening, writing, and relationship developmentStrong organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to influence peers on other teams and build strong relationships across organizationsGeneral knowledge of the medical billing process including an understanding of the various types of insurance products and payers highly desirable and preferredDemonstrated ability to assume sole and independent responsibility for various assigned projects /implementationsWillingness to vary job responsibilities as required to meet the needs of our clientsMastery of all Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Visio, Excel and PowerPointWilling/excited to work in a fast-paced, but sometimes intense, rapidly expanding company |
