As a Plant Manager, you will oversee operation of the Manufacturing plant in an effort to achieve company objectives for cost, delivery, quality, quantity, and safety. You will ensure that work flows smoothly through each department by following best practice methods. You will champion associate involvement efforts, foster effective problem-solving techniques, drive continuous improvement, and institute corrective actions when issues arise. Collaborating cross-functionally, you will determine and implement cost saving methods on products, oversee the introduction of new products into production, and establish appropriate production levels. You will develop and monitor annual budgets and report on financial variances to senior management. In this role, you will be responsible for leading, developing, and motivating a team of managers and supervisors through company programs and philosophies. You will actively participate in staff and manufacturing meetings. Qualifications

Bachelor’s or equivalent work experience in a related field.

10 or more years of increasingly responsible experience in manufacturing, with a minimum of 5 years of supervisory and management experience.

Must have working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Toyota Production System, TWI, Takt Time, Kaizen, 5S, Pull and Kanban principles.

Desire to lead in a continuous improvement environment with the ability to use coaching techniques that stress root-cause problem solving.

Excellent oral and written communication skills required.

Demonstrated project management skills.

Strong computer skills, particularly Microsoft Office and Shop Floor.
