Proposal Manager



I am currently working on an exciting role with one of the Worlds largest renewable energy companies.

They are seeking a Proposal Manager to join their team in China. This person will have a vital role within the sales team. You will directly liaise with the Sales Managers to offer Technical advice, the Technical team to gain expert advice on complex customer queries and will also be the face of the company, directly negotiating with customers.


On a day to day basis your role will consist of:


– Technical matters within the sales team including technical proposal /contract development
– Establish the cost side of projects
– Manage interfaces to the engineering, SCM and project management sub-divisions
– Prepare tender offer and contract documents
– Participate in negotiations with customers on technical matters
– Prepare the technical limits of authority
– Perform technical handover to project management
– Analysis of pre-sales activities by won and lost orders and drawing conclusions for sales strategy
– Leadership/Coaching of the sales team as well as coaching of the associated partners in the regional entitles


The only requirement that is a must, is that you have worked in a similar role for over 3 years.

The role will be based in China, so relocation is a must.
