Chemistry Teacher (Head of Department position) in Shanghai

Responsibilities:

• Respect and comply with school regulations.


• Attend meetings as requested (e.g. parents’ meetings, staff meetings, as well as any other appropriate meetings/promotional events), as may be reasonably required.


• Provide reference letters and possibly guidance services to students for their university applications


• Participating in extracurricular activities


• Given extra help to weak students


• Preparing students’ periodic school report.


• Supervising students and monitoring students’ learning progress.


• Assigning appropriate homework and correcting homework on time.


• According to CIE (Cambridge International Examinations) syllabus, teaching relevant A Level /IGCSE subject course in English or bilingual.

Requirements:

• Bachelor degree or above in relevant subject


• At least five-year A Level, IB, AP course teaching experience


• Understanding of UK higher education plus the needs of International students


• Well organized


• Works well in teams


• A good communicator
