Responsibilities


• Establishing good and effective working relationships with business colleagues, CLA and Corporate Affairs colleagues, and relevant authority personnel (AIC’s Customs, Embassy, Consulate General, etc) bearing on IPR protection;
• In collaboration with immediate manager and other IPR Protection Taskforce members, assist establishing of a structure for keeping tap of IPR infringements arising in China and Asia;
• In collaboration with immediate manager and other IPR Protection Taskforce members, bringing the level of infringements “under control” (both objectively and perception wise);
• In collaboration with immediate manager and other IPR Protection Taskforce members, improving Group’s IPR protection in China and Asia on a continuous basis.


Requirements


• Chinese and/or Asian law school graduate, JD and/or LL.M level. Formal IPR law education and training.
• 4-6 years of relevant work experience, preferably with other top-tier brand companies (including IPR protection and enforcement work).
• Knowledge of relevant administrative processes and procedures (e.g. Customs; AIC, etc.).
Demonstrated ability to identify and analyze complex issues in order to devise solutions and successful strategies.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (expectation 30-40 days per year).
