To further aid and support our client’s efforts in maintaining the highest quality of education, six Science Teachers are required for the campus to start in September 2016. Essential to these positions is recent experience in the British GCSE or IB curriculum within a British secondary or boarding school and a willingness to embrace the school’s efforts academically and within an extracurricular context.


Job Duties include


• Provide Interesting and relevant lessons within the British and IGCSE/ A Level syllabus;


• Maintain clear communication with peers and senior staff;


• Be an active participant in the wider school community through extracurricular activities;


• Ensure pupil progress is satisfactory and use necessary techniques to encourage pupil development at all times;


• Encourage and develop excellent academic progress throughout the school year for each pupil; • Maintain records and monitor pupil progress; and


• Provide pupil feedback and liaise with parents and the school.


Qualifications


• A Bachelor’s degree in the relevant subject from a Russell Group or Ancient University;


• A PGCSE;


• Two years recent experience within the British secondary/ boarding school system; Additional Requirements


• Ability to share skills and experience within an extracurricular context; such as drama, sports, foreign languages or musical instruments;


• Be willing to embrace the local and school culture;


• Be self-disciplined, presentable and personable at all times; and


• Express genuine interest in pupil achievement and development.
