Our client is a French multinational pharmaceutical and cosmetics company. They active in china market since 1996 and their products enjoy a good reputation here. For business expanding, they are hiring a legal manager base in China with one legal counsel direct report.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
As a Legal Manager based in Shanghai, you will be responsible for the provision of a broad range of legal advice to the Company. Ensure the Company operates in accordance with all regulatory and legal requirements, as well as minimize the potential legal risks. To be specific, you need to support on commercial contract drafting, review, negotiations and contract management, to provide legal advice to protect company’s brands and trademark. Managing potential disputes and liaising with external lawyers. Participating important projects in China. Review and improve legal-related procedures and/or policies periodically to ensure the procedures and/or policies in line with the development of business operation, the guideline of global policies and applicable laws and regulations.
Desired Skills and Experience:
To consider this role, you must be a qualified PRC lawyer with a degree or above in law. 6-10 years experience within private practice or in-house in big companies. Experience in FMCG or Retail industry is preferred. You are expected to have solid knowledge in civil and commercial laws, company law, contract law, labor law/labor contract law, foreign investment regulations and have a strong sense of legal risk control. You should have excellent communication skills and super soft management skill. Good English is required.
