An exciting new opportunity has arisen in the Asia region with Hunters’ growth mode aircraft component support client. To be based in the new China Office, we require a Regional Account Manager – North Asia. Focus will be on building new business opportunities and customer relationships, grow sales and revenue and assist with sales and trading aircraft components. The ability to provide on time delivery and high customer service is essential.


The ability to nurture and build new customer relationships in the North Asia region and deliver high customer service is essential. Good aircraft component knowledge and trading experience plus sales and customer support experience are also required.


Responsible for maximising trading opportunities, increase of sales and revenue, and contributing to the development of the China office this role requires someone who is performance driven, self-motivated, tenacious with an understanding of the culture and way of working, flexible and with the desire to succeed.


Candidates must have excellent communication, negotiation and IT skills with good command of the English language, Mandarin would be an advantage but not essential.


Salary Band is £35-50k depending on knowledge, experience and suitability.


Responsibilities:


Grow customer portfolio and business in the specific region.


Trade inventory by means of sale, exchange, loan or lease by quoting customers and pursuing opportunities.


Provide dedicated account management to all customers. Maintain an up to date knowledge of all assigned customer accounts, contacts, purchasing trends and activity.


Lead and develop the team to maximise trading and business opportunities.


Ensure all team members understand customer’s culture and way of trading within the region.


Requirements:


Background in Marketing & Sales within the Aviation MRO industry with preferably 3 years’ experience.


Ability to change and adapt to changes in the aviation industry and customer requirements.


Comprehensive understanding of Aircraft Components.


Willing to travel extensively in the area.


Ability to recognise and adapt to different countries and cultures and accustomed to cultural habits and ways of communication.


Recognise and react to customer priority requirements.
