Established in 2005, this is a dynamic and highly respected high performing co-educational independent school catering for 1350 expatriate children aged 2-18 from forty five different countries across six continents. The school comprises three schools, each with its own Head teacher: Early Years; Junior School; and Senior School. They offer the English National curriculum in KS3, International GCSEs in KS4 and the International Baccalaureate Diploma in KS5.

The school are currently looking to recruit a Mathematics teacher to commence in August 2016.

Beijing is a fascinating place and one of history’s great cities! It is known for its modern architecture and ancient sites. It is one of the most popular tourist destinations in the world and draws in people each year who come to view the finest remnants of China’s imperial past, such as the grand Forbidden City and many sublime temples. The food is a feast for sore eyes, including specialities such as Mongolian lamb, Sichuan-style chilli-spiked crayfish and flaky flatbreads with sweet wafts of fried spring onions which can be cooked before you! Beijing is a bustling city with more than 13 million people on an area of 16,800 sq. km – the size of Belgium. The Beijing Municipality is flat and has a very orderly design – north, south, east and west circumnavigated by six concentric ring roads. The Beijing seasons are clearly marked by changes in weather and temperatures, and surprising splashes of colours.

Requirements: You will be working with Maths classes up to IGCSE and IBDP level. Ideally you will have previous experience of having worked with children who have English as a second language. The school are looking for teachers capable of fitting in to a British international ENC/IGCSE/IB school. All teachers have use of a laptop computer and all classrooms have LCD TVs. The school is looking for teaching staff with a sense of adventure, a strong work ethic and an enthusiasm for their profession.
