YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Position: Major Tasks
- Develop in alignment with Marketing and Sales department an appropriate event
management concept for large and small events
- Set up a monitoring system to ensure transparency and Compliance for 3000 international
and local events
- Develop financial steering model for Event Management spend to ensure efficient allocation
of resources over 220 million RMB of spent in the event management category
- Responsible for developing a national and regional event strategy to support the portfolio
brands as specified in the marketing brand plans.
- Actively strengthen and streamline planning and implementation processes with the
utilization of electronic tools to drive measurable productivity increases.
- Obtain project management responsibility for global, regional and local Congress Service
and Event Management projects

WHO YOU ARE
Qualifications:
- >10 years of experience working with Sales and Marketing functions in administrative and
operational roles with exposure to planning and managing internal and external events
- Ability to analyze processes and define potential for improvement
- Leadership Skills to lead a team in different locations in China
- Project Management Skills
- Communication skills to work with different stakeholders and layers of management

Event Director
(China - Shanghai)
Responsibilities:

The Event Director will be responsible for independently managing events and client relationships through day-to-day contact with clients, looking for opportunities to up-sell and cross-sell potential clients, assisting with prospecting for new leads, ensuring clients receive superior customer service, and renewing accounts.  This individual will be involved in managing all aspects of event and below-the-line campaigns in accordance with the objectives of clients and the revenue goal.Provide superior customer service via creativity, responsiveness, and strong interpersonal skillsLead account team in planning, coordinating and executing related event(s)Qualify leads and prospective new clientsLead and manage the creation of proposals and presentationsPrepare strategies for up-selling and cross-selling existing clientsCommunicate with Vendors/Suppliers and Clients to ensure timely and accurate project launch, execution, and invoicing
