Deputy Head of Event Management Job in China

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Position: Major Tasks
- Develop in alignment with Marketing and Sales department an appropriate event
management concept for large and small events
- Set up a monitoring system to ensure transparency and Compliance for 3000 international
and local events
- Develop financial steering model for Event Management spend to ensure efficient allocation
of resources over 220 million RMB of spent in the event management category
- Responsible for developing a national and regional event strategy to support the portfolio
brands as specified in the marketing brand plans.
- Actively strengthen and streamline planning and implementation processes with the
utilization of electronic tools to drive measurable productivity increases.
- Obtain project management responsibility for global, regional and local Congress Service
and Event Management projects

WHO YOU ARE
Qualifications:
- >10 years of experience working with Sales and Marketing functions in administrative and
operational roles with exposure to planning and managing internal and external events
- Ability to analyze processes and define potential for improvement
- Leadership Skills to lead a team in different locations in China
- Project Management Skills
- Communication skills to work with different stakeholders and layers of management
