REI has a great opportunity for a HR Business Partner to work with our Private Brands team based in our Shenzhen, China office.


Working with general guidance from the HR leadership team located at REI’s Corporate Headquarters in Kent, WA, the HR Business Partner will act as an in-country liaison to provide generalist human resources support and services to REI leaders and employees in our Shenzhen, China office. This position will provide support services in the areas of recruitment, on-boarding, employee relations, benefits, and administration. This position will directly support leaders to ensure adherence to local and national employment laws/legislation and will execute all corporate HR initiatives for the Shenzhen office. Travel to the United States will also be required.


Key Responsibilities:
Serve as primary point of contact for leaders and subject matter expert on resolving employee issues and mitigate company risk by pro-actively identifying and documenting trends, providing solutions using consistent methods and sound judgment and conducting thorough, objective investigations

Facilitate change management support demonstrating flexibility and agility to support an increasingly complex and rapidly changing environment

Assess and diagnose root causes of people-related challenges, track trends and share with partners in HR in order to provide solutions

Facilitate all in-country new hire processes including new hire paperwork, Employee Onboarding

Provide consultation to leaders on organizational design and structure changes; support implementation of changes

Partner with leaders to assess and identify development needs and gaps and in partnership with HR center of expertise, provide appropriate solutions

Build and continually evolve business acumen in the retail and manufacturing field through both internal and external partnerships as well as HR expertise

Assess and analyze employee survey results; partner with leaders to drive engagement and effective employment practices

Implement rollouts of HR strategy/initiatives and advocate for HR programs

Support talent management, succession planning, training and development.

Administer HR Records and Payroll

Implement and improve Compensation & Benefits policies and procedures, in order to ensure fairness and competitiveness


Qualifications:


  • 5+ years of experience in Human Resources (3+ as HR Generalist)

  • Proficiency in Mandarin, Cantonese, and English

  • Proven consulting skills that link performance to business goals

  • Experience with organizational change management practices

  • General knowledge of all HR competencies: organizational design, performance management, leadership development, employee practices, compensation, benefits & rewards

  • Proven ability to assess, analyze and communicate client group needs; collaborate with HR centers of expertise to identify and effectively integrate solutions that deliver the desired results

  • In-depth knowledge of employment law and risk management

  • Must have intermediate Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)

  • Must be able to travel to the United States 2 – 3 times annually.

Unity College’s Captive Wildlife Care and Education Program seeks a responsible, motivated, energetic professional to perform all aspects of animal husbandry and care in our Koon’s Hall small animal room. This room contains a mixture of small mammals, reptiles and amphibians, birds and invertebrates commonly used in classrooms and education programs. Expertise in husbandry and handling of these or similar species is strongly preferred. The ideal applicant should have prior, paid animal care experience, ideally with some education and outreach animals. Communication, record keeping, and team building skills are also extremely important to this position. The animal care lead will work with, and have some oversight of work study students, support the general needs of the room, provide year-round coverage, and interface with classes, faculty and staff, and the room’s supervisor on a regular basis. This position will also assist with coverage for the Unity College Heritage Livestock barn, primarily during summer and other breaks, as well as, providing some support to other campus living collections such as the aquaculture lab.


Job Requirements:
1) bachelor’s degree or equivalent, relevant work experience 2) experience with best practices for animal husbandry and handling, 3) demonstrated interest in the animal care and education fields.


  • Must be able to work independently and be able to work as a member of a team, including leading students.

  • Must possess valid drivers license with good driving record.

  • The employee must occasionally lift and/or move more than fifty (50) pounds

  • There will be exposure to hay, dust, animal dander, and other potential allergens. Outdoor settings include work on campus: pastures, building grounds, wooded areas.

The Advanced Medical Support Assistant, Breast Health Coordinator performs a variety of administrative tasks associated with maintaining and supporting the work performed in the Non VA Care unit. Receives Non VA Care consults via electronic medical record, after approval process; contacts veteran for desired Non VA provider and date/time; contacts Non VA provider to schedule appointment; obtains necessary documentation needed for the Non VA provider; coordinates with other service lines in order to obtain necessary information for Non VA provider; schedules appointment for veteran; follow-up after appointment to ensure attendance, and check up for additional procedures; manages appointments in Vista(no shows, cancellations, rescheduled appointments); informs providers in any change to patient’s Non VA Medical appointment; ensures medical documentation is received from Non VA provider; manages workload on spreadsheets; prepares medical documentation for scanning into Veteran’s electronic medical record; organizes material for supervisor. Other assignments at this level include regular meetings with supervisor and Non VA Care Nurses to manage and plan patient care; adjusting the flow and sequencing of the work to meet team and patient needs. Performs other related duties as assigned.


The Advanced MSA works collaboratively in an interdisciplinary coordinated care delivery model (i.e. PACT) and performs receptionist duties, customer service and other duties assigned for the proper and timely treatment of patients and maintains appointment schedules for one or more outpatient clinics. He/she must assist with clinic access contingency plans by adjusting appointment times, location, or dates as well as shift patients to other healthcare providers as conflict with staffing and/or coverage occurs. Incumbent must screen/receive phone calls in a courteous and timely manner, determine the nature of requests and provide the information desired using privacy rules and established clinic processes. A caring, compassionate and sensitive manner is essential when explaining procedures to veterans and their family members both in person and on the phone. The MSA is able to independently manage position responsibilities with little supervision as well as set priorities and deadlines adjusting the flow and sequencing of the work to meet team and patient needs. The MSA participates in the daily teamlet huddles and weekly team meetings where patient care planning and management occur, except during staff shortages for coverage.


Work Schedule: Monday – Friday – 7:30am to 4:00pm, 8:00am-4:30pm

Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends.

Flexibility and cooperation with the Store Manager’s needs that may change on a daily basis to maintain the proper functioning of the store.

Communicate and collect accounts receivable as necessary, working with the credit department and client; collect all balances due based on approved credit terms.

Lift/carry laptop and sales materials weighing up to 40 lbs., to and from office, home, car, and customer locations.

Manage deliveries to the routing schedule published by the transportation department; troubleshoot any problems that occur during the order process (for example, out of stock items, special order items, low inventory, etc.).

Participate in company functions, promotions, customer visits, and customer events. Attend and participate in general sales and district meetings.

Review and analyze daily and weekly reports such as special order requests, customer bid files, and sales/gross profit margin data.

Perform administrative duties, such as preparing sales budgets and reports, maintaining sales records, processing credits and pick-up requests, preparing sales quotes and menu suggestions, and filing reports.

Other duties may be assigned.

Participate in ongoing training sessions.

Assist with the training of new employees as requested.


Qualifications:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or 5 YRS Foodservice sales experience

6 months of sales, and/or chef/restaurant management experience, and/or related (Business, Sales, Marketing, Hospitality; or Culinary Arts) degree

Basic pc skills and proficiency with MS Outlook

Reside or willing to relocate to the geographical vicinity of territory

Valid driver’s license with a “clean” driving record (including: no single DUI in the last 3 years and no multiple DUIs within the last 7 years)

Current automobile insurance with the following limits of liability: Bodily injury – $100,000 each person and $300,000 each accident; property damage – $100,000

Ability to pass pre-employment testing (Drug Screen, Background Check)

Ability to read, write, speak English

Must sign Sysco Protective Covenants Agreement


Preferred Requirements :
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Hospitality; or Culinary Arts

2 year of outside foodservice sales experience or culinary experience

identification of funding support.

Bacteriology – assists in preparation of media and growth, harvest, processing, and inactivation of antigen.

Tissue culture – assists in preparation of lab, kitchen work, dispensing, and harvesting of antigen.

Emulsion – assist in the preparation, cleaning, mixing, emulsifying of killed antigen formulations

Basic Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED

Completion of Post Offer Exam, Completion of Work Simulation or Completion of Administrative Skills Testing if applicable.

Additional Skills/Preferences

Purpose :
Supervises as well as performs payroll function to assure accuracy, timely completion, and compliance with corporate policies and procedures and state regulations. In addition, continuously strives to find efficiencies in overall function.


Position Responsibilities:


  • Ensures that bi-weekly payroll is processed accurately to comply with corporate policies and procedures as well as and government guidelines. Payroll includes incentives and productivity pay for various states

  • Maintains control totals to assure correctness of payrolls as well as weekly, quarterly, and annual payroll reports

  • Responsible for issuing manual payroll checks for non-standard payments, reviewing status changes for proper classification, and investigating and identifying payroll variances.

  • Reconciliation of withheld taxes and gross earnings for quarterly tax reporting, annual W-2 processing and timely accurate submission of various other payroll reports. Reconciles payroll withholdings for fringe benefit reporting

  • Works closely with Finance to ensure reporting is in compliance with Corporate Finance standards and auditing practices are consistently maintained

  • Prepares applicable informational packages and works with auditors during internal reviews

  • Provides guidance and mentoring to Financial Services Specialist

Qualifications:


  • Associate Degree or equivalent work experience

  • 5 years of payroll experience with mid to large size employer

  • Prior supervisory experience

  • Experience with computerized payroll systems, spreadsheets and word processing software. ADP payroll preferred

  • Prior experience with in-house payroll processing a plus.

  • Fundamental Payroll Certification (FPC) or Certified Payroll Professional Certification (CPP) preferred

  • Strong communication skills to be able to communicate effectively with all employee levels

  • Strong organizational skills

  • Ability to adapt to a fast paced and changing environment

Strong interpersonal skills; ability to work in teams

We are currently looking for Design Verification Engineers who will be responsible for all aspects of verification on AMD next-generation GPU chips, including developing testbenches, modeling, assertions/checkers/monitors, test plan & test development, regressions, and infrastructure development. Responsibility includes participating in the pre-silicon blocks, chip, multi-chip and system level verification strategy:

– Verification of GPU SoC – Test Planning, Implementation and Execution.
– Verification of low power features using cutting-edge power verification flow and tools.
– Gate level simulation for key features in block level and SoC level.
– Executing verification through directed and random tests for its functionality and interface protocols and tracking bug reports. Creation of the needed test libraries, test API, simulation models. Debugging regression failures and identify the cause.
– Ability to work well in a dynamic, fast-paced, pressure filled, across multiple sites in North America and Asia


Skills and experience requirement


– Experience in various verification methodologies from block level to SoC level, and familiar with corresponding tools.
– Strong Verilog and HVL (SystemVerilog, e, SystemC, etc.) skills
– Strong C and C++ software development and scripting languages (Perl, C Shell, Makefile, …) experience.
– Good knowledge of low power design and verification is a big plus;
