Kleinschmidt is a premier provider of engineering, regulatory and ecological services to the Hydroelectric, Renewable Power and Water Resource Markets in the U.S. and Canada. We are seeking a Business Development Coordinator in our Pittsfield, Maine office to support our Hydro Services Department.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business or related field with 1-3 years related marketing or business development support experience, preferably in the professional services industry
- Strong database management and excellent writing/editing skills
- Customer Relation Management (CRM) software experience required (Deltek Vision preferred)
- Demonstrated research and Microsoft Office applications skills
- Excellent attention to detail, organization and time management skills
- Must possess current authorization to work in the United States
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Coordinates with the Department and Senior Managers – Marketing and Corporate Development regarding overall business development (BD) goals and activities
- Support technical staff in planning, prioritizing and preparing for BD activities including tracking and managing client relationship activities, capture plans and follow up reminders in CRM (Deltek Vision), Go/No Go process and prepare BD reports
- Facilitate business development meetings with department managers and technical staff
- Work with and assist project managers to conduct debriefs on all proposals, both wins and losses and coordinate Client Satisfaction Surveys
- Conduct searches for Request for Proposals/Requests for Qualifications from clients
- Liaison with Marketing Team and technical staff to identify needed marketing materials to support business development activities including qualifications packages and presentations.
- Facilitate conference activities for technical staff.
- Research target markets, potential clients, project opportunities, competitors, teaming partners, and the industry and help prepare market analysis reports
- Monitor news sources for market trends, regulatory updates, and client activities.
