HR Operations Representative job - Inland Hospital - Waterville, ME

Job Summary

The HR Operations Representative provides administrative support to the department’s centers of excellence.


Education and Experience

·


High School diploma or equivalent required, Associates preferred.

·

Entry-level position. 2 years’ working experience preferred, prior HR experience preferred.

·

Call Center experience preferred.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

·


Working knowledge of benefits, basic compensation, HR policies, and recruitment required.

·

Customer-focused communication skills.

·

Ability to use HRIS technology to gather information

·

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Word and Excel.

·

Accurate data entry and extraction skills.

·

Strong problem solving skills

·

Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

Essential Functions


People

·


Manages client expectations through understanding the issue, providing a timeline for getting back to the client if not resolved immediately, resolving the issue, and if unable to resolve, forwarding to the appropriate resource and providing the client with the forwarding contact information.


Service

·


Operational Support

(may support one of more of the following)

o


Supports benefits administration, including troubleshooting file discrepancy reports, approval and processing of weekly claims payments and monthly administrative fees from the health plan to benefit vendors, performing audits, and assisting in open enrollment activities.

o


Supports Service Center administration, including pulling together mailing packets, compiling reports, and special projects.

o


Supports leave of absence administration, including, sending out correspondence, and following up medical certifications utilizing the LOA administration software.

o


Supports retirement program administration, including preparing retirement packets, processing pension benefit elections, retiree health plan enrollment, annual plan audits and valuation.


Quality

Identifies service delivery gaps and recommends performance improvement recommendations.

Completes job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.


Physical Demands

·
Sedentary: Exerting up to 10 lbs. occasionally, sitting most of the time, and only brief periods of standing and walking.
