A Community Integration Worker studies all the history of the clients, discusses their needs and problems, and guides them to meet those needs. After researching all about the clients’ history and background, manner of thinking, capabilities, and other important things; the Community Integration Worker puts forth a wide range of choices that would help the clients get rid of their problems. The Community Integration Worker then guides the clients to choose the most appropriate one according to their needs Community Integration Workers assess the client’s mental and physical condition and discusses the problems and treatment options with doctors/providers. Community Integration Worker also consults with the client’s family members regarding needs and goals of the client to obtain stability in the community. Community Integration Worker has to make every possible resource available that will be beneficial for the client’s well-being. The Community Integration Worker acts as a liaison between service providers and recipients coordinating and collaborating needs/goals.The education requirements of the Community Integration Worker will be a MHRT-C. The Community Integration Worker will directly report to the CIW Director. We will meet at 30 days, 60 days, at 6 months, and annually thereafter to review progress and training needs. General Duties: Perform duties assigned by the Executive Director.Meets established timelines.Meets established attendance criteria and starts work promptly.Knows and consistently implements all approved policies, protocols, and procedures.Regularly supports compliance and accreditation efforts as assigned including, but not limited to OSHA, Joint Commission and HIPAA and Behavioral Healthcare Network.Consistently supports the organization’s mission as defined by the President/Director and Vice President.Participates is required meetings and events.Meets with the immediate supervisor, sets and achieves annual goals for the job performance improvement.Monitors the entire work environment, ensuring the entire facility, indoors and outdoors, is kept as clean and orderly as possible.Follows the ethical practices, dress code, and acts in a professional manner all at times.Will report if they have a traffic violations or other law violations to determine how that this will affect your job status.Weight limit will be 50 pounds that you will need to be able to carry or lift.All needed certifications will be your responsibility to track and attend classes to maintain your ability to work as a Community Integration Worker. If you miss a clinical it will be the expectation that you pay the 90 dollars for the hour that you have to have individual time with the clinician unless it is previously approved. This will only be excused for emergencies by the supervisor of the CIW program.Effectively participates as a member of the team and promotes teamwork.Consistently demonstrates good use of time and resources.Consistently interacts with clients and FCS members in a professional manner that reflects favorably on the organization and that is conducive to high productivity.Payeeship for Client’s-see needs below. A monthly budget will be created and signed by the client. The Community Integration Worker will be responsible to save money for heat, lights, and to meet basic needs of the client. A payee acts on behalf of the beneficiary. A payee is responsible for everything related to benefits that a capable beneficiary would do for himself or herself. SSA encourages payees to go beyond just managing finances and to be actively involved in the beneficiary’s life. The following lists the required duties of a payee. Required Duties: Determine the beneficiary’s needs and use his or her payments to meet those needs;Save any money left after meeting the beneficiary’s current needs in an interest bearing account or savings bonds for the beneficiary’s future needs; Report any changes or events which could affect the beneficiary’s eligibility for benefits or payment amount;Keep records of all payments received and how they are spent and/or saved;Provide benefit information to social service agencies or medical facilities that serve the beneficiary;Help the beneficiary get medical treatment when necessary;Notify SSA of any changes in your (the payee’s) circumstances that would affect your performance or continuing as payee;Complete written reports accounting for the use of funds; andReturn any payments to which the beneficiary is not entitled to SSA.
